my hotmail works just fine so I believe this is a General IT problem not a Virgin problem

Re: hotmail problem
I can get into the account but cannot read any of my e-mails or send any ,comes up with an error message "cannot conect to live mail at this moment try again later",think it is a common fault with hotmail,I have contacted them about it and waiting for a reply, though don't know how I will be able to read it

Re: hotmail problem
Yep, definately then a hotmail problem (have moved the thread to INTERNET DISCUSSIONS)

Re: hotmail problem
It actually could just be a net timeout..
But I said It was not a Vm Problem for the obvious reason that Hotmail Is Ran By Microsoft... Which Every Connection in the world CAN connect too I believe, If you cant connect to microsoft In general then Something's Up Im no Hotmail Expert But this Could be a Simple FF or IE error... Which are you using, Clear cache etc. try again Then Ill start again with resolving :) |

Until the OP stated "I can get into the account but cannot read any of my e-mails" there was no way of telling that it wasn't a VM issue.. As for your logic every connection in the world should be able to connect to every website in the world, so in essence nothing is a VM problem ;) :p: |
Re: hotmail problem
Cleared all of the cache and using IE6 or 7 ,it looks as though there are others with the same problem so it must be a microsoft problem

Re: hotmail problem
It would appear that the problem was with IE,as I have installed firefox and can access my e-mail via that.

Re: hotmail problem
Well Now that I know its an IE problem Try doing this
Go to Internet Options Via Tools, Then Go to Programs And at the Bottom should be Defualt Programs etc. Set Hotmail as Your Default Email and See if it can be accessed Fine Via That Or Via Net If not then This Seems to Be a Rising Problem With IE Timing out In Hotmail... |
