Can Someone Read My levels This Month For 20mb
 
I've Usually Done it In the Past With My Old 50mb in the Old House But im still waiting for virgin to Upgrade me Here so Heres my 20mb Down's and Up's Using the NTL 250

Downstream Lock : Locked
Downstream Channel Id : 70
Downstream Frequency : 306750000 Hz
Downstream Modulation : QAM256
Downstream Symbol Rate : 6952 Ksym/sec
Downstream Interleave Depth : taps12Increment17
Downstream Receive Power Level : -4.6 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 25.5 dB

Upstream Lock : Locked
Upstream Channel ID : 2
Upstream Frequency : 45800000 Hz
Upstream Modulation : QAM16
Upstream Symbol Rate : 2560 Ksym/sec
Upstream transmit Power Level : 61.0 dBmV
Upstream Mini-Slot Size : 2

The upstream is way high, Your going to need a tech

Would that affect download speeds etc. Because Upload's are fine but D'loads are way Down at the Minute, Thanks for your help :)

Downstream SNR is also too low. Your line needs major attention.

Isn't the downstream level ok if its above -6 though, the upstream is your problem

Nowhere near adequate for 256QAM EuroDOCSIS, should be 30+ as a minimum.

Many Of you Know Ive had Problems With Faulty Cables In the Past that have just started Playing up again,

Could be a possible cause?

Unplugged all cables from the NTL box outside, I know its naughty lol but Screwed em back in Re-boot modem and

Downstream Lock : Locked
Downstream Channel Id : 70

I see a difference Although I aint got a clue what they mean

I've still got work to do on the cables inside my home which I will be Doing Today/Morning, Will Post results for analysis :) Something tells me Virgin Media's Tech's are going to be Done Over again

Well over the last few months I turned to this Site for refuge as to find out why My 20mb Internet had Just walked away lol

Alot of you helped with Reading my levels as such etc.

Well Im afraid to admit I was Defeated Twice at getting a speed over 2mb..

So today I ran TCP Optimizer... ''SLIDER WAS LIMITED TO 3000kb's !!:mad:

Cant believe i was Owned by a problem like that lmao

Thank you for your help Especially to people Like Broadbandings and Sirius etc.
