In-Line Satellite Signal Booster

hi
I have a weak signal due to being on the fringe of the sky footprint in Bulgaria .
Would one of these In-Line Satellite Signal Booster be any good for me.
I already use a 2.5 mtr dish and dont want to get bigger
Somedays we got all the free channels but other days the signal is weak
Any help please

i have tried to use a twin outlet LNB but the signal was worse than using a splitter??????????????? i have two sky boxes.

A booster not only amplifies the signal but also any noise..

If you don't want a larger dish then make sure you've got a very low noise LNB. Remember as well that as you're off footprint then enviromental conditions will alter the signal strength as you're side onto the signal (things like rain clouds, temp zones, even atmosphere layers will all effect your signal)

Kymmys right. If you have to use an amplifier then put it closer to the dish than the STB. The closer to the dish the better the SNR of the signal being amplified.
