serge charge
 

I had my virgin electronic bill arrive last month and it had a serge charge of £48 on it but does not explain why. Tried to get explanations from virgin but no one was really any help. I have paid on time etc so don't think it could be this. The only thing I have noticed is I have started all of a sudden, getting a bill in the post as well as the electronic one.
Could this be the reason why? and why would they start doing this?

The best I can suggest is that you keep on at Virgin, they're the only people that can really answer your questions.

They're the only people that will definitely be able to tell you what that charge is for.
