I'm with Charlie on this, I couldn't bring myself to recommend that bunch of shysters to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I am prying for December, not for Christmas, but my contract finishes with them. My business relied heavily on the 3 push e-mail service, but they decided to cancel them giving only twenty-fours notice.

Re: Become a free agent for 3

Well they wrote to me in July about closing the mail service.

I don't like the other networks that much, they don't offer decent 3G reception that meets my needs.

T-Mobile especially I hate with a vengence! Crap customer service, rubbish network coverage and they are expensive!

They told me that they had sent me a text three days before. I received nothing. The first I knew about it was when one of my employees said he saw it on a forum somewhere. They said that they are expecting everyone to use their webmail service, but this does not store the e-mails in the handsets. When we are not in a coverage area (which is fifty per cent of the time ) we need to able to access data from e-mails already downloaded.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad:

Thats disappointing, however, are you using a phone set on 3 business or just the basic 3 pay as you go or pay monthly service, they may still offer this service to 3 business
customers

They still offer it!!!

Re: Become a free agent for 3

No they don't. I have explained to them that I have twelve contracts with them (not for much longer) and the reasons why. The 3mail server no longer accepts e-mail traffic. I am not surprised it is still being offered though, they do have a propensity to lie to their customers. The service they are offering is not "push e-mail." It is a webmail service; quite different to what they had before. The problem is that it doesn't support attachments to the E71 (or E61), rather ironic seeing as that this is the model they are using to demonstrate the service.

It has been turned off for Personal customers. There are two seperate servers for personal and Business customers.

When you call retentions make sure you ask to be moved onto 3 Business, if you remain unhappy then you have 14 days to cancel and you still have the right to obtain PAC codes to transfer out numbers during this time.
