Traffic management
Hi all,
I am with virgin media on the 10meg upper scale which allows 3500meg download durring traffic management times. I have I think been put on traffic management at least 3 times , but I am at work durring the day and I know it is not my computer thats downloading. I have the modem connected to a router Security Options (WPA-PSK + WPA2-PSK) , my computer is hard wired and my daughters laptop is wireless, she tells me she not downloading or streaming. Is there any way of my knowing how much M/B has gone through my modem. Virgin media 50meg tech support has a way of seeing how much my modem has downloaded , but I would like check myself. Any help would be fantastic. Gary. |
Re: Traffic management
Which router do you own?
The modem itself will not tell you how much you have downloaded, but, as all info goes through the router, it may well be able to tell you ;) |
Re: Traffic management
I have the Netgear wireless-N- Router WNR2000.
If there is a way could you please explain where I need to find the info within the router. Thanks Gary |
