New Install

I am getting 50 mbit on Monday. I already have 10 with an Ambit modem. My question is, do they attach the new modem to the existing coax, or do they have to run a new wire into the home?

they send info to update the modem if im correct ? this will require a reboot or they may just set you up with new modem same old cable

50 meg you will get a new modem .The tech will check the levels to the modem and adjust if needed :)
