Re: CPU Temps + comp temps
Temps vary significantly between different types of CPU, Motherboard, RAM, PSU, whether or not you have stock or other coolers fitted ........

Re: CPU Temps + comp temps
Most PC's sitting at 30-45 degrees will run nicely. Any higher and you are starting to strain it a little.
Once you pass 50-60 degrees C you should really look at adding extra cooling. |
Re: CPU Temps + comp temps
I think safe temps are higher than 40 degrees. I measure my cpu die temp rather than the diode temp and as long as that never sees 70 degrees then I am happy. Northbridge temps can vary greatly also ive seen perfectly stable machines running above 50 degrees long term as for GFX well they can run very hot under load quite safely

Re: CPU Temps + comp temps
CPU Max: 70 deg C on a desktop, 80 deg C on a laptop
GPU Max: 100 deg C They are the values I use and I've never had issues using them as a guide. |
