HDMI cables and Sky+

Hi All. Just bought a new TV along with HDMI cables, does it have to be a HD box to connect to my cables to my TV? This may be a silly question and I will accept I am being a bit of a biff. ;;)

You can only connect using HDMI if you have an HD box. You'll have to use SCART leads with Sky+, but the picture won't be HD.

You want a nice little V+HD, you do :) (if you live in a cabled area)

ps. Welcome to the forum!

Nice one thanks. I did think that but you tend to start doubting yourself. Cheers
