£15 instead of £8 extra
 

i just rang Virgin media to look into ordering 50mb as my next billing date is sept 2nd so i should be elegable for the new price structure in sept....

They told me that i would have to pay an extra £15.01 for it not £8.

I asked why and they said because i HAD to take the XL TV package as part of the deal i said that i didnt have to and they said that was the only thing available on my account at the time.

BLOODY INDIAN CALL CENTERS R USELESS!!!!.

Call them back at a different time and try again.
Perhaps 8-9am on a weekday?

Doesn't really warrant a thread i would have thought...

i would have thought it does warrent one. If they have tried this to me have they actually tried the same thing to anyone else?
