Bournemouth Air Festival

This weekend, started yesterday and continues through to Sunday.

If anybody fancies a day out I recommend a trip down here as it is really quite good.

My favorites from last were of course the Red Arrows and the Typhoon Euro Fighter, what an awesome piece of kit that is.

Last night saw 114,000 fireworks going off all at once in a world attempt which went wrong http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/new...Shore_/?ref=mr

I'm going down for a few hours tomorrow before work, my Mum lives in Bournemouth so parking won't be an issue :D

It was pretty spectacular tbh, very busy though and kept getting trodden on, I couldn't believe how late into the day people were arriving and walking through a sea of people sat down expecting to find a spot, shame I had to leave early but it was very cool indeed :)

I didn't make it down today unfortunately, but will be tomorrow.

Did have the Red's and the Typhoon over my house as we are on the flight path for Hurn.

Was playing golf yesterday afternoon and the Lancaster and Hurricane flew over. What a noise the Lancaster made could just imagine the site and sound a whole squadron would have made 65 years ago!

Red Arrows are brilliant. They practice their routines at the end of my garden so I get to see them regularly when they're at Scampton.
