outlook email will receive but not send
 

for the last couple of days now, my MS outlook wont send any of my email messages and I get an error code 80042109

can anyone help me fix it please?

as far as I know its not a fault with Virgin. thank you

Have you recently changed any of your firewall or security software?

Sounds like it could be blocked.

Fully fledged Outlook?

In which case, create a new mail profile and try again.

Ah, okay.

Is it Outlook or, Outlook Express?
You can find out from the Help menu, normally it will say "About Micrsosoft Office Outlook..."
Click On this, and it will tell you the version :)
