Recent XXL VIP pack upgrade - confused on price
1 Attachment(s)
on 24 July I upgraded my VIP pack to inlclude XXL 50Mb broadband. I've just got my first bill. I always find the bills confusing the way they list everything and then deduct it again further down the bill. They should just list XXL VIP package and a single price... much simpler.
Anyway, now to my questions.. does the attached bill look OK, or am I being charged too much? I ask because the advance charges for the XXL broadband are £52 from 20 August to 19 September, but I read on the forum that the price of XXL broadband was being reduced to £28 from September. Does anyone know the actual date it is being reduced? It's obviously not from the start of September. Excluding the installation/activation charges, it looks like my normal bill for XXL VIP pack would have been £104.25, but from September (allowing for the price reduction), my next bill should show the price of XXL BB reduced from £52 to £28, so will my future bills be reduced by £24 to £80.25? Also, how do people get loyalty bonuses? I've been on cable for more years than I can remember (my Son was a toddler when we got cable, he's left home and got his own place now) right back to when it Nynex, Cable & Wireless, NTL, now VM.. I've never been offered a loyalty bonus. I've now found out that because I upgraded to XXL BB, I started a new 12 month contract, but still no offer of a loyalty bonus. . |

On the 1st September the price of XXL drops by £7 to become £8 more than XL. At the moment VIP with XXL is £88 + £10 XXL increase = £98 (for you + £5 non-DD + £1.25 Paper bill = £104.25) So for you it will be £102.25 from the first bill printed after the 1st September Quote:
