So, faced with the need for another nice little earner HMG is going to levy 3%interest on late payments but only pay currently 0.5% interest on overpayments - sounds about right....

Yet again, everybody pays some more tax on what they have paid tax on for previously!:rolleyes:

Not long the way things are going! Those who delude themselves as to the realities of balancing the books just love all the populist expenditure and grand gestures but tend to forget that it has to be paid for sooner or later and doing so is going to hurt!
