Why the hell would 4chan be responsible?
Jesus. It's just /b/ that's the bad part.

As for DDoS, don't most places have protection against this kind of stuff?

Yeah well /b/, and considering the amount of attacks they've been responsible for it wouldn't be surprising. But i never actually said it WAS them.

And tbf by the looks of /b/ today i don't think it was.

Most decent sized sites (within which category I would include Twitter) should be within a hosting environment with perimeter devices capable of sorting out something like this fairly quickly. It will be interesting to see a) how long it takes them to get sorted, and b) what they say is the real cause of the downtime.

tbf? ;) That was amusing to read, i read it as something totally different :D

I never use Twitter. The owner of 4chan does however. Why would they sabotage the place the boards updates are posted in case of downtime? :p:

Cheers Rob :) didn't think that it would be incredibly specialised only 1/1,000,000 sites had that protection.

@mikasounds broke it, he was the last tweet I got! The next one was at 16:48, and there's a few more after that... yay Imogen Heap new album sooooon :hyper:

---------- Post added at 17:30 ---------- Previous post was at 17:25 ----------

actually it does say 'problem with all tweets feed' in the status bit, but it is working. Imogen Heap posted from tweetdeck, and mika posted from the site? Weird.
