want rid of your orange contract

hi i'm reposting this from cablehell (as i stumbled upon this on b3ta and am trying to share it) as i know some people want away from orange for one or more reasons and KNOW this works. as i've just left them as a result

back with a huge verified bump in oranges direction
they are changing call costs from 5p to 14.5p (nearly 200% increase) and your in right to cancel if your contract is made before june.

i have just done this with my orange contract (result as it was three months old) and await my pac code now

the good news is Orange have given you the perfect excuse to cancel your Orange contract - they’re increasing the charges for minutes used beyond your allowance and other services from mid-September. The better news is that, judging by your comments, plenty of you are managing to do so without too much bother. The bad news is that for others, Orange customer services are telling outright lies and refusing to help.Remember that you’re not attempting to scam Orange; contracts are there to protect both parties concerned, not just the bigger of the two. If the terms and conditions allow you to cancel, Orange have no right to prevent you from doing so

If they change their prices and if it's written in the contract you can cancel the contract if prices are changed than yes.

they did that to the Dot mobile customers, when dot wnt bust they forced highly unreasonable tariffs onto customers including some who pay the entire cost of line rental at the start of the contract. thousands left. and, as the blog states three(hutch uk) had the same when they removed part of a service

if you are unhappy with vodafone i suggest you look for vodafone's E-forum there team is second to none, and until i left vodafone made being with the theving gits more pleasurable. (there billing system is shot and still owes me money for my two old contracts)
