Do I need to cancel my BT line
 
Hello, I have just had my phone line/50Mb internet/TV installed, does Virgin cancel my BT line or do I need to do that myself?

Welcome to CF - you will need to contact BT and cancel that yourself.

thanks, for some reason I though VM would arrange for it to be cancelled....

If you're having the number ported over then the BT contract should cease as soon as the number is moved.

However if the number hasn't ported yet DO NOT cancel the BT line.

Otherwise VM can't port the number.
