Email problems...
Hi All,
I am getting the following as an error when tring to send email through Outlook "The server responded: 421 aamtaout04-winn.ispmail.ntl.com connection refused from [85.235.244.194]" :mad: I noted there were similar issues on a thread last year - did anyone get an answer for this from VM at that time, or is there a setting that needs to be changed in my account settings in Outlook? Even if you opt to go for a Virgin Media e-mail address, your blueyonder one will still work.
So if someone sends an e-mail to joe.bloggs@blueyonder.co.uk, it still goes to the joe.bloggs@virginmedia.com Inbox. {Providing they were on Blueyonder before} |

You are trying to connect to smtp.ntlworld.com on a non VM IP address. Just change your smtp server settings to those of your ISP. EDIT: Apologies didn't see Sir John's post. - Same as he says. :) |
