Virgin Ripoff roaming data rates

Hi folks.... with many of us heading off on holidays at the moment the new maximum call and text costs imposed by Viviane Reding the Eu commissioner for all things mobile which came into law across all 27 Eu countries on 1st July 2009 will be most welcome.
http://ec.europa.eu/information_soci....htm#new_rules
However for those of us using our phones for finding our way about strange
cities or checking the web Virgin mobile have yet to reduce their Ridiculous cost of £5 per megabyte of data despite the fact the network you use can now only bill virgin mobile 1Euro or about 85p for every megabyte you use. 3 are now charging £1.25 per Mb across EU and T-Mobile who provide all Virgins mobile phone services only £1.50. Virgin seem to be missing the meaning of the new law in their greed for extra profit.
In the words of Viviane Reding
"The roaming-rip off is now coming to an end" "The wholesale cost of data used within EU countries is to be capped at €1 per MB - so about 85p at current rates - meaning that host operators will be prevented from hiking up the prices they charge to the roaming customer's home operator - costs which then get billed on to the customer"
On the plus side the new law leaves the field wide open for anyone contesting virgins ridiculous charges in court as no jury would uphold such price gorging at a time when we are all having to tightenin our belts any thoughts??
