Eset Smart Secuirty / Firewall

Hi,

Can anyone recommend me a software firewall, that runs on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit SP2 ?

I did have Comodo, but it slowed my connection a bit and was giving odd ping results on speedtest.net
So I am back to the Windows Firewall

I am looking at Eset Smart Secuirty is that any good ?
I have the Antivirus and that great.

I've been using it on the 32-bit version and it worked perfectly, if that's any help (which it probably isn't...).

I'm using the latest Comodo and it doesn't slow mine down.

Nod32 works ok but i had a problem with not being able to stream movies to the Xbox 360 with it so had to change.

What's up with Windows Firewall. So long as you stay away from those pRon sites and scan all torrent downloads.

I have tried the 32-Bit on Vista 32-Bit, then I upgraded to 64-Bit Vista as I am getting some more ram. So it happening for me on 32-Bit and 64-Bit and it was up to date.

It seems to slow do my loading of the pages and seems a bit faster

What was the usage footprint of ram/cpu like, was it low ?

I am use to having a 3rd party software firewall, that I can control a bit better then windows firewall and that I can use to disconnect from the net without having to unplug the ethernet cable from the router.

You won't notice NOD firewall on your pc.

Download the trial and give it ago.
