Loud beep every minute!
 

I have a problem with my fixed line that has followed me for 3 house moves but same number, I wonder if anyone can enlighten me!

When I receive a call and I am talking a while I hear a beep like the minute timer on a mobile phone. This last house move the noise is very loud! I thought it may be the phone's fault but I have new phones now. Why does this happen? It distorts the other person voice and I have to keep saying pardon!!! :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sounds to me like Call Waiting is enabled on your line and someone else is trying to call you.

Are your phones cordless? If so, make sure the batteries are fully charged.
