Netgear or Virgin Media firmware differences
 

Can anyone explain what the differences are between Netgears own and Virgin Medias firmware on the WGR614V9?

Also are there any security problems with Virgin Medias own firmware or problems in general that someone may want to stay away from it? The reason i asked is i remember reading somewhere that Virgin had put something into their firmware that allows them to see what people are downloading from for example peer to peer or bittorent.

i had problems with VM firmware flooding when using FTP and Peer to Peer applications so i rather netgears own firmware. As for the security issue i dont know.
