Virgin 1 is becoming a 24 hour channel on freeview too.Don't understand why it wasn't already. They must have been loosing revenue.
What if NTL and Telewest just stayed as NTL, the channel would have been called NTL 1. Not too bad either. Also why is it Virgin 1, where is Virgin 2, they must have planned a second channel in the future, or a rebrand of Bravo and Challenge. The same with Sky 1, between 1997 and 2003/4, there was only 1 Sky basic channel. And that was Sky 1. The original Sky 2 was ceased in 1997. |
