Viewing after disconnection

Does anyone know if I get disconnected from virgin media do I still receive basic channels like you do on Sky via the v+ box?

if youre a telephone cust with VM and retaining the line they will supply you a box free of charge for what is in essence freeview (i.e. the channel line up)
if it was a normal box they would probably just leave you with it (this encourages on-demand purchases) but as its a V+ box you should have it collected by VM ;)
