using happauge pvr 350 with vbox

How can I connect my card to the vbox? Hopefully so that I can use an IR extender to automatically change channels.

I have a Samsung vbox with a scart output, and I'm using windows media center.

you will probally need to use svideo and audio output or compent, if scart you will need a scart convertor

at the moment, I have a component cable and a scart converter. I'll just have a look...

Ok, well it says it has an Svideo/composite input... Doesn't take the composite lead though.
*edit* found a converter, so I have video in. Now I need to know where to find it...

Incidentally, where would I be able to watch the stream in WMC? It's not really a tuner.

*edit* can't even get the damn thing to choose which hard drive it records onto.

As your tuner has analogue, you can connect it via S-Video/Composite as you have done already.

In WMC, you will need to set it up as a New TV Tuner with the output you have connected the box with, it will show you how to do it.

Thanks for the reply - will this work with Vista?
I've read up on this, and it seems to be a feature perhaps only used in XP?

Yes it will work in Vista Media Center, look on the Hauppauge site for drivers for your card.
