belkin internet icon

Hi all,

i have a belkin n1 router,all appears to be working fine but the internet icon blinks blue intermittently,as i say it blinks BLUE and not AMBER,what could be the cause?
By the way it is connected to cable modem isp virgin,hope someone can help thanks.
