netgear rp114
 

hi all
i upgraded from 10mb to 20 mb recently
the problem im having is this...if i connect my modem directly to my pc i can get 15mb download speeds...but if i connect it to my netgear rp114 router it slows to 6mb download...my router has the latest firmware installed but it still slows everything down...has anyone got any ideas?
should i replace the router?
if so whats the best router at the minute?
btw all the pcs connected are wired....not really a lover of wireless lol
any ideas would be helpful
