How can I watch Sky in another room?
Hello all!
I'm here to pick your brains, I'm afraid I'm a bit of a technophobe so you'll need to dumb things down for me here. I've got a sky box in the living room and would like to be able to watch sky in my bedroom on another tv. Rumour has it that this is possible to do wirelessly (which is a must). I don't know what I need to do this though and was wondering if you kind people could help me out. Thanking you in advance :) |

:welcome:
You need some sort of "Video Sender", which will take the signal from the living room's Sky box & send it to the TV in the bedroom. e.g. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Family.aspx?...605&worldid=-9 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...IDEOSENDER.htm http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...IDEOSENDER.htm You will only be able to watch the channel currently selected by the living room's Sky box, but some video senders can also relay the remote control signals, so you can use your remote in the bedroom. |

Re: How can I watch Sky in another room?
You could also get Sky Multiroom installed for an extra £10/month or something and you can watch the same set of channels on your second box. That would however require the installer to run another cable from your dish.
