This is getting slightly annoying
For the past 3 days, my internet disconnects at ~8.30am and doesn't come back to life until ~11.45am. This has happened every single day for the past 3 days, and affects ALL of the computers connected to the 'net.
Weds Morning: Disconnect @ 8.32am, recoonect at 11.44am. Thurs Morning: Disconnect @ 8.29am, reconnect at 11.45am. Fri Morning: Disconnect @ 8.13am, reconnect at 11.39am. I have an IRC client running 24/7, so I can get the times by just looking at my IRC logs. I have considered a scheduling problem (something conflicting on the PC, causing a disconnect), however, it is definatly affecting all 3 of my PC's, not just one (msn running on another PC also disconnects, and skype running on the third also disconnects) I am aware that it could be the router, although I doubt that it is, its never given me any problems of this kind previously, but if it continues I will rule the router out by disconnecting it, however, before I start messing up my nice LAN, I wish to ask.. This disconnect problems seemed to start the day after I saw a VM engineering team poking around in the green cabinet at the end of the road. Could it be in any way connected, or, is there any known issues in the M41 area? |

Visit http://192.168.100.1 login with the username and password "root".
Compare the upstream and downstream signal levels between when your connection is working and when it is disconnected. If there is a difference post them here. Any further diagnostics will require you to be directly connected to the modem. |
