Re: "3" in Netherlands
When I had a '3' phone I had to call them to make sure roaming was on before I went abroad.

Re: "3" in Netherlands
In this country "3" use either thier own or Orange networks.. In other countries it's upto the reciprocal agreements that each company has with other companies..
Anyway a quick peek at the THREE site give me http://www.three.co.uk/Help_Support/...=1214306363137 |
Re: "3" in Netherlands
Chill, it should work am on o2 myself and it just picks any network that is available but you'll always have to pay roaming charges.
I think it might just pick KPN Telecom as thats the most used network in Holland with the best 3G coverage. |
Re: "3" in Netherlands
Roaming calls are capped in the EU are they not? See here

A more relevant link is this: http://ec.europa.eu/news/environment/090422_1_en.htm But it only takes effect from July, so expect phone companies to charge through the roof just to go between countries with your phone. Have you considered a local PAYG sim-card with an old phone? |

3 do not operate in the Netherlands. Orange no longer operates in the Netherlands, France Telecom sold its customer base and network to T-Mobile, Holland has a smaller customer base than the UK which is why there arent many networks and thats why Hutchison did not re-launch mobile services. |
