Ebay question
 

I bought a book on ebay 10 days ago and it's still not arrived. I've emailed the seller 3 times with no response. It was only £1.50 but that's not the point - is it too early to get ebay involved and taking this further?

There is a new system on ebay for conflicts such as this, info here. I would go ahead with contacting Ebay. 10 days and no reply to 3 emails would be enough for me to do it. If they were on holiday during this time, they should have made that clear in the auction.

I followed your link and is if by magic, it turns out he's apparently dispatched the book this morning...or at least marked it as 'dispatched'.
