cable modem lights
 

Hi there, i seem to have a problem with my cable model and its enet and recv lights constantly flashing even if my PC is turned off, i have checked the routers settings and activity log to see if anyone else was connecting to my network with out my knowing but there are only my "things" connected.

even if i turn off my PC power down the modem router then power the them both back up as soon as the modem connects the enet and recv lights start flashing quite fast.

is this something i should be worried about and report to VM ? my connection does not seem to be effected speed wise, i ran a test on http://www.speedtest.net/ from various places on there and they all gave me over 19mb connection.

its a known issue caused by a recent firmware update.
