NESO - Hitachi External Hard drives
 

Hello

Have anyone heard of this brand of external hard drives? Amazon are flogging a 500gb drive usb 2 for 85 pounds which is a nice price.

I would say that is an average price for a 500GB drive. Nothing special in the price.

As for the make, never heard of it. It could just be an unknown make but with a branded drive inside. It doesnt seem to say much.

Maplin are doing a 1TB drive for that money.

500 gig USB 2 hard drive is nothing special for £85 unless it's a 2.5" drive, so in reality that's quite a good deal! However I am on the lookout for a 1TB drive that's not Maxtor or Seagate, preferably not Hitachi either. :)

I got a 1tb Western Digital from play.com a few months ago for about £80, so far, so good
