Will my DVB box with VM subscription card work at another address?
 

Hi there,

I hope someone can help me on this - I'm renting a room in a house and have a fully working paid up subscription to Virgin Media TV with Sky movies package.

I've just had to move to another rented property in a hurry and have of course brought my DVB box + card + TV with me. My new room has a Virgin Media cable connection already in it, I don't know anything about the previous occupier or what his subscription status was.

Question - can I simply connect the cable up to my DVB box and start watching TV again? Is it that simple?

No, just call VM tell them you have moved and they will arrange a transfer.
