Bytemobile Optimization Client.
 

Has anyone heard/used the software mentioned above.

Seems to have appeared on my netbook, although I believe it was installed after I updated the Firmware/Dashboard on my T-mobile Stick (E170) and it seems to kick in when I connect via the HSPA modem.

From what I can gather it's suppose to "optimize" the experiance whilst connected via the mobile network, although there seems to be little detail as to what it's actually doing to achieve these "Optimizations" or are there any perticullar settings to control it.

On the plus side it does appear to have made a difference, I'd guess, it's working in conjunction with a proxy of some sort in the network, which is probably compressing the sites before sending them. (With the client doing the decompression)

But i'd be interested to know if anyone knows for sure.
