DVD audio rip?
Quick question, before I buy both the DVD and Audio Cd of a gig. Is there a decent program (free obviously :)) that will grab the audio from a DVD in a decent format (WAV or lossles preferably, but around 300kbs if it has to be MP3)?
Ta muchly :) |

Re: DVD audio rip?
Not particularly big, but I now realise there will be issues in partitioning the dvd rip up into tracks that are meaningful to my mp3 player. I'm leaning towards getting the CD as well now...

Probably not much help to you, but may help some-one els ein future wanting to do the same :)
I found getting a free program to do it well in XP to be a pain, but in Ubuntu (I'm guessing same tools are available in other distros) it's really easy! http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-rip...p3-or-ogg.html http://ubuntulinuxhelp.com/the-easy-...-audio-to-mp3/ |
Re: DVD audio rip?
I used DVD Audio Ripper (not Free) & I used it for getting MP3's of my Peter Kay DVDs for my iPod. Very easy to use

You could try this:
http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/ The free 30 day trial seems to indicate there are no restrictions on it. |
