Bad 20mb speeds.
Well i have actually treally only noticed this over the past few weeks, it all started when i phoned virgin media to enquire about 50mb anyways in the end i decided not to take it he then said i was due for a modem upgrade even though i had the new modem? so the engineer comes out and fits it??
anyways lately i have been noticing. A) Bad download Speeds B) Loss to all servers when gaming C) Timing out quite a bit Funny thing is though my brother has 2mb yes 2mb and lives just a few streets away he gets a 16ms ping on the same server as me when i get 60?? i got 20/30 loss he gets 0 ?? Im paying for 20mb yet reciving like a 1mb service? fair dos sometimes on speedtest it may actually go upto 6mb! Just looking for advice before i ring the techs up they ask me todo all my computer checks even though the computer is brand new now running a fresh vista ultimate install and still the same :/ any help/input appreciated Code:
