And that's to provide a real comparison with other television providers who require you to have a telephone line which has to be paid for extra.:D

So is this the new price £88, that everybody on VIP will be paying when the prices go up in May instead of the existing £86pm?

Also as far as I know, theres a deal that you can get it for £70 for a few months, no idea if this includes telephone line.

For new customers it is £88 + £1.25 paper bill fee

It will go up to £88 + £1.25 paper bill fee for existing customers paying £87 now

If you are paying £86 that means you have the e-billing discount - so it will go up £1 to £87

Actually thats not bad, an annual increase of a pound is less than 1%.:)

but didnt inflation (Retail Prices Index) come in at 0.00% meaning the price increase is many many many (infact infinate) times higer then general price (and thus wage) increases ;)

Unfortunately RPI is no longer a good measure of retail inflation as it contains mortgages which have been zooming down.

The other measures, CPI and RPIX, which do not include mortgages are better measures - they are around the 3% mark just now.:dunce:
