pixelating picture & no channel listings.. - whats the problem?
 

my picture now and again pixelates like it does with sky when the weather is crap..only does it for a minute or two but its enough to annoy you..
what can be the problem and how can one sort it?

and when I switch my box and tv on in the morning moe often than not I dont have any telly listings, and as per I have to hold the button in on my box till 'stop' comes up and it reboots?
again what causes me to not have a channel listings and how can this be sorted?

pixelation is normally caused by a signal problem...with Sky it would be birds/rain/technical problems causing it...with VM it can only be a technical problem (unless the feed to VM itself has a problem but then it wouldn't effect the EPG)...if it persists call tech support up..

What time do you switch the box on in the morning. I am up early and before I leave for work at half six it shows nothing but what is on. Makes a complete pain if you want to record something as you have to remember to put it on the right channel before you leave.

I am up between 5 & 6 in the morn and it is a pain..
