NTL 250 modem fault?

My modem ntl 250 seems to have developed a fault, the recv light is constantly flashing even when the computer is turned off.
Other than the recv light fllashing I seem to have a normal internet connection, I spoke to faults yesterday and was informed that this flashing is normal even without an ethernet cable connected.

looking at the modem configuration shows this:Cable Modem : Euro-DOCSIS 1.0/1.1/2.0 CompliantMAC Address : Serial Number : Boot Code Version : 3.1.6dSoftware Version : 2.94.1014Downstream Lock : LockedDownstream Channel Id : 38Downstream Frequency : 314750000 HzDownstream Modulation : QAM256Downstream Symbol Rate : 6952 Ksym/secDownstream Interleave Depth : taps12Increment17Downstream Receive Power Level : 2.1 dBmVDownstream SNR : 33.0 dBHardware Version : 1.19

is this flashing ok or do i have a fault?.
