Re: Israel army 'used human shields'
Damn that anti-semite UN making things up to put the butter-wouldn't-melt IDF in a bad light.
If that woman keeps making things up about them she may have a Mossad induced accident. |

Tip of the iceberg

Bit of a typo there, they left out the words 'lack of' |
Re: Israel army 'used human shields'
Disgraceful behaviour (if it's true) and lets not forget that there are plenty of reports of the palestinian fighters using their own people as human shields as well.
Who the hell would want to live there anymore? :( |
Re: Israel army 'used human shields'
The truly sad part of all this are the vast majority on both sides who have no doubt had an utter guts-full of the violence, in standoffs like this it always seems to be a minority on both sides who just don't want peace, they are so consumed with hatred they believe a military option is viable.

Re: Israel army 'used human shields'
Sheesh!Frankly I believe it but then I'd believe it of Hamas as well.
This is a bitter conflict and both sides are as guilty as the other.Neither has the high moral ground and I'd believe the UN investigators over either side. However neither side is listening to any kind of reason and the people who could have leverage fail singularly and systematically to use it. |

Just unfortunate that the Jewish PR machine is far more influential - see the Galloway thread for more on that, being Pro-Israel is fine, Pro-Hamas a supporter of terrorists when they're no better than one another. |
Re: Israel army 'used human shields'
I read a report last week about how some israeli soldiers have given evidence against fellow soldiers saying they deliberately fired on women and children. I'd try and find a link but difficult as not on my laptop

Re: Israel army 'used human shields'
Terrible actions reported, but the UN doesn't help it's case for impartiality when it says things like this (from yesterday's Times -
"The UN also cited alleged abuses by Hamas, the Islamist movement that rules Gaza. Ms Coomaraswamy said that the group had been unwilling to investigate the charges made" The Israelis have to understand that acting in the way they have is immoral and probably illegal, and they lose any sympathy they may have had in the eyes of the world. |
