this is horrible, every time i hear story's like this it makes me sick to my stomach, how can anyone ever hit a animal, let alone batter and slash the poor things throat!! the pic is abit graphical

the animal trust or what ever it is should start to do background checks on peoples pet history so no other animal will be in danger.

That's too true. Sickos that are capable of such horrendous acts against animals often "progress" to violence and cruelty against humans. :(

Poor beast! :( This dog no doubt gave many years of love and devotion to it's owner. The very least they could have done was to give it a dignified and painless death. Can't bear to think what pain it suffered in the end. :(:(:(
