50 meg install
 

Had a look but cant see the answer to this elsewhere.

When upgrading from 20 to 50 meg, what does the install engineer have to do? Does 50 meg require a second cable or is he literally just changing the modem?

Changing the modem, sets up the router if you want, and makes sure all signal levels are correct

making sure you pay £50 for something you don't need:P

*shrugs* It's part of the fees for getting 50Mbit.

It's your choice whether to pay or not. Don't want to pay it - don't get 50Mbit
