V+ Hard Drive spinning up
 

V+ Box - Can anyboby explain to me what the Hard Drive spinning up means and would this keep happening all the time while box is in standby?

I take it you're referring to the annoying whirring sound it makes at 2am when you're trying to sleep? lol

Even when its in standby the box is still able to record so its probably something to do with that.

Yeah I think its something to do with keeping the hard drive active. Don't quote me on that, though! ;)
