Signal Booster

I recently had one of those wee signal booster jobbies installed as my levels were way down at -15 , the guy hooked it up to the splitters i already have which is exactly what the tech who came to evaluate said not to do , he said no splitters but the other guy who came didnt listen to me he knew it all , my question is can i hook my box up straight to the booster or does it have to go through that white virgin box on the wall and by the way what is the purpose of those wee white virgin junction boxes. :monkey:

Re: Signal Booster

Within the white box on the wall should be an isolator. that is needed to protect the VM network from you, and vice versa. Your VM supplied modem / Set Top Box should be connected to the customer side of the white internal box.
