Khan Versus Barrera

Is anyone paying for this tonight? I think it's going to be a close contest, decided on points, but I'd hate to pay 15 quid and it be over in 30 seconds. Does anyone know when this is repeated for normal Sky Sports viewers?

I'd like Khan to win normally but with this fight I feel a bit different. I think that Warren has picked this fight on the thinking that since Barrera is a lot older, and fighting at a weight he's never fought at, so he won't make life difficult for Khan. I think they've sort of disrespected one of the greatest fighters in the sport. I hope Barrera does beat him.

Re: Khan Versus Barrera

Khan lost against Breidis Prescott in the dressing room. You could see when he walked out he was nervous and you could see fear in him. When he stepped into the ring he was totally off timed and you could see he was ill prepared. If I can see this then Prescott did.

Tonight Khan seriously needs to show the world he has the bottle for this level of fighting. Barrera is getting on in years but look at this guys record he beat Nassim Hamed ending his carreer his fights with Morales he won 2 out of 3 bare in mind the first was in 2000.Pacquiao however showed Barrera is getting on now so Khan is still not fighting the best at this weight.

TBH I am lookign forward to Hatton Pacquiao 2nd May . Either of these Khan could meet one day if he wins tonight ;) (as long as they can get the weight)

Spoiler:
Barrera cut bad round2 .Ref steps in round 5 fight stopped Khan wins on points. Not a TKO strange that. Well Khan on top all the way apparenty fair play to him maybe he has a career afterall. Need to see him against someone at the peek of his career now . Looking and there isnt currently a Lightweight world Champ since Pacquiao vacated .Pacquiao is 5lb heavier to fight Hatton but wonder if there is a chance of a Pacquiao Khan fight this year

Pacquiao vs Khan wont be anytime soon. Khan is not ready for someone like Pacquiao. He stills need a few fights before world title shot.

I think the title is vacant Paquiao gave it up to go up a weight. If you look who has had this title in recent history you have to wonder if Khan measures up. He may well

he still needs rounds. he hasn't got the experience yet to fight someone like Paquiao. when he's at his peak than yes.

Being a boxing fan, l think that Khan, needs a couple of bouts with some really 'hard boxers' to prove he can hack it, as at the moment he can't, Khan is a lovelly bloke, but he still needs great experience in the ring.

If you wait till he hits his peak all the good boxers we have now will be to old and he will be the only one left and be world champ by default. Paquiao is 30 and Hatton is 29 iirc and they are both fighter heavier
