V+ keeps on resetting
 

V+ keeps on resetting the last few days at random times. Anyone else had this problem? West Midlands area.

It sounds like it's on it's way out.

Have you got a lot of stuff stored on it? It might be an idea to archive it and try reformatting the hard disk.

Odd. Was brand new out of the box when I had it 6 months ago. Thought it might be a Network problem.

I've never had a network problem that resets the box but I suppose it could happen. :shrug:

It's usually one of the first things VM tell you to do though when you have a fault so I don't know if they can force a reboot over the network.

Mine has started doing the same thing. The box was new in Dec 07, has been fine then reset once a couple of weeks ago, fine after that for 10 days then reset twice yesterday!
Does that mean I can have one of those smart Samsung boxes now?!

any one getting problems with there v + box i unlugged it friday nite for 5 mins ... then plugged it back in then my v+ servives stopped working and my channel selection is slow ... ive reformatted my drive and its still slow this morning ... also none of my information bars appear when selected .... when i select the v+ plus button i dont get an display for what films ive recorded .. plases can any one help thanks

My box keeps randomly resetting, it's rather annoying. I'm going to try hold out until they are rolling out the Samsung boxes properly though. Don't fancy having another SA box.

if the 'live tv' icon isnt on the front screen it will need rehitting with the V+ capability.;)
