OCR software problem
 

Hi guys - having got my Lexmark X85 to scan and print properly with your help I'm wondering if you can solve this little problem for me.

The machine is supposed to come supplied with abbyy finereader OCR software but I can find no trace of this on the CDs supplied. The scan and copy control centre has 'button's for colour, grey, B&W and Text (OCR) but this last option remains greyed out and cannot be selected for some reason.
The supplied and online documentation mention of the OCR facility but gives no detail on where it is and how it's activated.

I've tried Lexmark support which has been rubbish and done quite a few web searches but can't seem to find out what's wrong so it's over to you guys now.... ;)

I don't know anything about Abbyy Finereader (I would have thought this would be on the computer not directly on the printer...) but Microsoft Office document imaging can OCR, and google shows up a few free ocr software if that's of any use.
