Broadband L and Netgear WPN824 speed issue - Help required please
 

Having recently upgraded from Broadband M to L, I am very pleased with the upgrade but I wonder if I am being greedy or if I can get anywhere nearer 10MB than this:

I'm using an Acer Aspire 5611 laptop with 802.11a/b/g LAN and a Netgear WPN824 wireless router.

Have you tried testing the speed when connected to the router via ethernet or direct to the modem?
If yes what speed are you getting?
If not, give it a try.
