Re: Are these signal levels ok
Explain "sync issues", what happens, do you lose connection or have a loss of speed.
What happens to the lights on the modem when you have sync "issues" Russ posted this in another thread. Have you called the status line? Quote:

Re: Are these signal levels ok
Your power levels are fine and most modem logs look not to dissimilar to your own as the update function tends to be disabled, best to ring Tech Support and they will troubleshoot your connection and tell you if the are any issues on your connection.

Re: Are these signal levels ok
@ xocemp when gaming on the ps3 the sync light flashes then after about 30 seconds the ready light starts to flash then i lose my internet conection then i got to reboot the modem to get the internet to work only have had this problem since i had the v box freeview installed and the engineer split the cable off the modem. I have since taken the v box freeview out of line as now i have gone to sky for the tv package but the problem persists i have just phoned tech support and a engineer is coming out today
---------- Post added at 10:58 ---------- Previous post was at 09:01 ---------- Update: Engineer from virgin came checked the signal levels they were ok ,he also changed my modem as he thought it was causing the problem so fingers crossed it all works like it use to thanks to all who gave advice |
